FlatFace Fingerboard J9 Jay Linehan Signature Dual Bearing Wheels - Open Bearing Edition
The elusive Jay Wheel is finally back. After originally producing a few batches years ago, the exact material formula was lost, and it took nearly six years of trial and error to recreate it. Now it’s back, and this time the formula is here to stay. In terms of feel, the Jay material is more grippy than standard FlatFace wheels, but it is not urethane. Compared to urethane, it is slightly harder and less grippy, with a smooth, controlled ride. The closest comparison would be the Blistered x FlatFace 72D Ultra, though the Jay Wheel is slightly harder, slightly less grippy, and offers a smoother overall feel.
Color brightness may vary slightly from batch to batch, and the material will continue to darken as it’s ridden. The open bearing edition was inspired by skaters flipping their bearings.
