Root has managed to make the Invictus V3 both lighter and stronger than its predecessor. This is larger thanks to the new deck and bar. The bar features triple-butted chromoly, which has the strength of steel but a similar weight to titanium. The deck is now made of magnesium-rich aluminum alloy, which is stronger and stiffer than 6082 aluminum. This new material allowed them to remove excess material without compromising strength.
These parts are held together by the industry's most trusted compression system, HIC. A scooter's compression holds the bottom half together, and HIC is used in most pro scooters! HIC provides reliable strength and requires minimal stress-free maintenance without the added weight that other compressions come with. Finally, the Invictus V3 rolls on Root Honeycore 120mm Wheels that come equipped with ABEC-9 bearings.
