Most fingerboard obstacles are made of metal, wood, or stone, but Silent uses steel-embedded silicone and soundproofing vinyl that helps mitigate noise. Their pads also double as mouse pads!

Silent Obstacles are hand-painted and personally assembled in San Diego, California. Spills and scuffs naturally blend into the hand-painted details, but the obstacle can be cleaned with a damp cloth. Avoid sharp objects and prolonged sunlight to preserve the finish.
